Description:
The New York Presbyterian Hospital Family PEACE offers comprehensive and coordinated interventions at Northern Manhattan community health centers with the goal of breaking the cycle of family violence. The program has trained more than 1,000 medical providers and staff on domestic violence identification and intervention by employing the model of academic detailing; initiated the development of a coordinated community response to family violence and implemented innovative treatment programs for children and teenagers who witness violence in their families.
