Description:
Screening for IPV in a pediatric setting has unique issues: the mother is not the patient, there are safety issues around screening in front of children, no tools have been tested in pediatrics, there are issues of mandatory reporting, and there are challenges around documentation. This study explored the use of a computer, screening questions and the opinions of mother in regards to screening during their child's pediatric visit.
