Description:
This presentation is a one-woman play that addresses the stages, psychological impact and degenerative effects of domestic violence. It is the story of Michal, a high achieving middle-class woman who was expected to succeed in every arena of life, yet finds herself incapacitated in a violent marriage. The discussion that follows addresses both differences and commonalities in cross-cultural needs and responses to prevention and intervention based on the presenter's observations throughout international travel with the play.
