Innovative/Promising Practice Program Report

Description:
A pilot project integrated screening for gender-based violence (GBV) among men who have sex with men (MSM) and transgenders (TGs) into HIV-related services in Mexico and Thailand. This presentation will share findings from the evaluation of the project, which assessed: levels and types of violence identified; the acceptability of the tool from provider and client perspectives; barriers to implementing screening in the HIV setting; and referrals to other services made and accepted.
