Description:
The Violence Intervention Programme (VIP) is a nation-wide programme to support New Zealand health sector family violence programmes. The programme funds family violence intervention coordinator positions in all District Health Boards (DHBs), audits DHB performance, and offers technical advice and training support to health services committed to the programme. In this symposium you will hear how policy makers, providers and researchers are collaborating to support system change. Audit data from 2003 to 2009 highlighting successes and challenges will be presented.
