Presentation Format:
Innovative/Promising Practice Program Report

Description:
This presentation will focus on the lived experiences of two coordinators of health system-based DV programs. Both programs are focused on creating systems change through strategies such as protocol development and staff training, rather than providing direct services to patients. The facilitators will share developments over the last 5 years including: challenges faced, both predictable and unexpected; strategies used to improve the health systems' responses to DV; and other abuse-related issues that have expanded the scope of each program.
