Youth tend to disclose dating violence experiences to their peers, yet Little is known about the nature and frequency of adolescent help-giving behavior for dating violence. This research demonstrates that teens who are first responders to their peers' disclosures provide advice and assistance. Teens should be provided with tools and skills to support providing this assistance to their peers.
