Presentation Format:
Innovative/Promising Practice Program Report

Description:
Most battered women are in contact with current or former abusive partners, sometimes by choice and sometimes by necessity. Their children, even if their parents’ relationship is over, are likely to see their father. All victims deserve the resources and protection of domestic violence interventions and advocacy. In this workshop, the presenters will explore what practitioners can do to advocate for these women and children without forgoing safety and how to incorporate new strategies for working with abusive men.
