Description:
Through a combination of lecture, role play scenarios and case studies, this presentation will heighten participant awareness of the diversity in the black community and the unique service needs of female abuse survivors depending on ethnicity, culture, class and national origin. It will also educate participants on how to engage, assess and provide cultural competent domestic violence services to black abuse survivors.
