Innovative/Promising Practice Program Report

Description:
This workshop will present a new social work course curriculum that was developed by the Family Violence Prevention Fund in collaboration with Simmons College School of Social Work. The course is aimed at building leadership and activism within the next generation of human service professionals to address the issues of domestic violence and child maltreatment. The workshop will discuss lessons learned from the pilot test, projects developed by the students, and opportunities for other schools to implement the curriculum.
