Description:
Victims of domestic violence face many challenges when seeking safety and high on the list of services needed is affordable dental care. Victims may present with dental issues related to neglect of dental care or with trauma/injuries as a result of the violence. This presentation will describe the development of the partnership between The Lodge, a domestic violence shelter, and Nova Southeastern University, and will focus on the implementation of the program.
