Description:
This presentation will provide findings from a quasi-experimental trial to screen women for IPV and refer half to a trained IPV advocate based (intervention) in primary care clinics. Over time IPV scores (measured by the Danger Assessment)declined significantly for IPV positive women receiving care in clinics with advocates compared with women receiving care in clinics without the advocates(p=0.001).
