Description:
New, effective interventions with adolescents who perpetrate dating abuse are needed. We are in the process of developing a Screening, Brief Intervention & Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) intervention for an emergency department setting. The intervention will use motivational interviewing techniques and address underage alcohol use and dating abuse perpetration simultaneously.
