Description:
Descriptive research indicates that the SANE/SART model is the ideal delivery of care and intervention following a sexual assault. Research using methodological controls to rigorously test the SANE/SART model are lacking. The entitled study: SANE/SART Model: Is their a difference? used a quasi-experimental design to determine whether certain SANE/SART and Non-SANE interventions differ significantly. This paper will report on the differences between these two groups and the impact these differences have on policy and program development.
