Description:
As the population ages, increased numbers of older victims are accessing health care and others services with abuse-related illnesses. Results of a ground-breaking multicultural study funded by NIJ of focus groups and a primary data collection survey with older victims and non-victims and a 2009 video of an older woman describing being abused by her husband for more than 50 years will be used to lead discussions about barriers to help seeking and effective interventions.
