Description:
I will review and present on overview of two interventions developed for the prevention of partner aggression among returning veterans with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as well as preliminary outcome data on their efficacy. One intervention is couples-focused and focuses on preventing initial occurence of partner aggression in at risk couples. The other intervention is conducted in male veteran-only groups and focuses on preventing recurrence of aggression among veterans who have engaged in prior partner aggression.
