Innovative/Promising Practice Program Report

Description:
As a quality improvement strategy at KP Northern California we measure 1) % women members age 18-65 identified as IPV+ ; and, 2) % patients identified as IPV+ who receive care from mental health. Since implementation of the program began in 2000, the number of members identified as IPV+ has increased four-fold. Medical Centers receive reports twice/year showing the numbers of members identified as IPV+, by year and by department. They use this information to guide their training/implementation strategies.
