Description:
This study presents data from 305 Deaf and disabled women regarding their unique experiences with interpersonal violence. Findings of the prevalence related to disability, financial, emotional, and threatened and actual physical and sexual abuse will be compared to age, race, living arrangements, types of disability, and use of personal assistance. Significant findings related to each of the demographic characteristics and type of abuse will be discussed.
