Description:
This presentation focuses on the influence of Chinese beliefs on women's coping with intimate partner violence. Abused Chinese women who adopt maladaptive coping behaviors may be more vulnerable to the development and maintenance of PTSD symptoms. The findings of this study together with the implications for research and practice will be presented.
