Description:
This presentation describes a promising approach by a state public health department for assisting reproductive health providers with integrating scripted sexual/ domestic violence assessment into their clinical practices. We describe trainings conducted with family planning providers throughout Massachusetts, including strategies for screening with a particular focus on reproductive control; changing the family planning contract requirements for funding; technical assistance with developing referral networks; and preliminary outcomes and lessons learned.
